The picture idea came to me last night just as I was falling into the land of nod, I had to get up and jot down the gist so I would remember it today… typically I got so wound up after this, it took an hour before I was finally able to sleep. This is a work in progress… I think... I like it in this phase though... but I need practice putting color to my ideas. Wish me luck!

Very nice--I really like the roots and how they grow among the ruins. I know that feeling--you get wound up after working on some art and find it hard to sleep. Glad you were able to get this idea down though, and I look forward to seeing its eventual progress!
