linked by a string of lights

Dust-bunny nests in the wild are often connected, seeing as they are quite social creatures but easily scattered by the wind. This colony of nests for example, is linked by a string of lights. (because I’m sure you were wondering ;)

A Zoe in the wilderness

I got really excited about this weeks Illustration Friday theme ’wilderness’ - the wild places are close to my heart and I started to dream up lush foliage and how I could infuse it with bunnies. In the end it was Zoe who took me to one of her favourite haunts - I hope I did it justice.

an ever so shaky venture

Dante questioned if mini busses really were fit for flying - the whole venture seemed rather shaky. It’s been a while since I digitally rendered an image. After a habit of filling an image with line work and details it was a bit of a challenge to rein myself in and keep it simple - Enjoy!

Experimenting a bit with doing the line work with ink pens and some water colors… I am not sure yet… what do you think?

like a busy bee...

What a week! Hope to balance things out a bit soon and get back to posting more regularly! I just want to send out a little thanks to Bee for nominating me for an award… was too busy to pay it forward but I really appreciated the thought!
