Lori Nix, photographer
I found Lori Nix works while out blog surfing… it was love at first sight! She is a photographer with roots in Kansas but also strong ties to her apartment in an other state. The world comes to Lori via the models she builds. I have long been a fan of post apocalypse themes, and this is no exception.
She creates dioramas based on disasters real and fictive, then photographs them… the images are surreal not to mention beautiful. Truly a must see!

At 0401 tonight there will be a total eclipse of the moon over Sweden… bit too foggy to see it but last time I got a great picture (seen above). My camera is not professional but I still think it’s pretty and I did catch some of the red glow!
preparing for movie magic...sketch
Had so much fun yesterday, I was helping my friend with the puppets and green screen for her movie assignment. Here we are preparing… she is going to have a giant ant attack Stockholm! … Was feeling a bit down for not making the mail me art book… But this movie magic, made my week! Great when you have nice friends to be creative with!

I read these children’s books when I was all grown… but I simply love them! And Tove Jansson illustrations are as imaginative as her stories! So here is my illo in her style (although she does it better!)
one of those weeks...
Been having one of those weeks where you fall out of love with every project before it’s done, hence I am struggling with my bat illustration layout… but I think I know how to fix it in the meantime here is a really old line drawing I did… painted it in acrylics but don’t remember where the finished work ended up, think I gave it away… oh well goodnight, don’t let the bed bugs bite!
