I’ve been so busy with about a million little projects keeping me from getting anything posted - silly girl!
Anyhow I hope to show most of what I’ve been up to soon - starting now with Dantes film debut!
The movie is 21 seconds long and consists of over 60 individually hand drawn stills, digitally colored and assembled in a rudimentary movie maker - old school, and sooo much fun! I will have to do more movies I am afraid, and get a bit more savy in the process perhaps?
I made it for my sidebar just above my followers as a part of my plans to revamp ye olde blog, but I'm posting it here as well - hope you like it.

i think this is really good! go old school always looks best!
it's cute and lovely and I want more :)
and I really envy you patience - over 60 stills?
love it... you have a knack for animation, as well!
have you tried the software program, 'animationish'? it's super and not very expensive... i'm sure you'd have fun with it, then graduate to another when you want more of a challenge :)
Wowowowowow! This is very adorable Emily! I am looking forward to the day you make a short film out of Zoe and Dante! More please!:)
Fantastic! How great to see Dante animated, I always feel there is so much effective story telling in your fab illustrations, this takes them to an exiting new place, keep it up!

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! This is FAB FAB FAB FAB! Oh goodness gracious. Yes, more, more, more! And you'd better make the rip in the paper a leeeeetle bit bigger, because I am definitely going to follow Dante.

Hi Emily, this is a good one. All I have to say is keep up your good work OK!
This is terrific! It's a great blend of hand drawn and digital techniques, gives it a lovely feel.
I did an animation for IF this week, just a simple one nothing as work-intensive as this, so I really appreciate how much work this must have been.
I am defintely going to be subscribing to your blog, great work in here!
