'contained' or soon free?

You may find yourselfthinking that Zoe and Dante are very similar, as they are both rabbits with long earsand lots of fluff but you would be missing the subtle nuances of this lapin duo. For example Dante has a habit of getting into trouble - by say doing something like entering strange houseboats, and Zoe well she has a knack for opening jars and of course getting Dante out of a pickle - like say if he were confined in the tower of an upside-down house full of pirate ants.

it's been long since i have come across somebody illustrating 'cute' figures which actually do things other than simply being 'cute'.
hilarious, i must say.
you are lucky that i do not believe in the habit of giving away 'awards', lest your blog should suffer from loss of space to post.

You are so good playing with the line to create effects as light, space or texture... So good!

I love the influence of Art Nouveau on your work.

Emily, I'm so happy to see Zoe and Dante back. I love both the story and the illustrations. Your line work and composition is always so amazing.
Is it Balentyne watching Zoe there on the topmost hall?

Hello Emily,

Thank you for the comment on my blog. I realized I had not visited your blog in a while. So many beautiful posts! Your work is so charming!!

I am so sorry to hear about your grandmother! I lost my grandmother two years ago and last week my mother-in-law passed away. (Part of the reason I have been away from blogging). I wish you peace and loving memories to sustain you. Glad to see you are back to blogging with even more wonderful work!!

All my best,
Ann Marie
