subtracted from this mortal coil

Through deep gasps and slow awakenings light cuts the eyes and rouses the shipwrecked trio. Once again Zoe and Dante find themselves in the echoes of a dark and traumatic night.

Very beautiful drawing as always, and the story is also great.I just wonder...how long dose it take for you to draw each of this very beautiful piece? :)

I love the way you draw. Great, engaging characters and wonderful details. Even though the work is black and white, the warmth and emotion really comes through. Really beautiful work.

Emily, you are a feast for the eyes! I love blowing it up and admiring each and every pattern you've embedded in here. Wow!

Oh, oh, oh. Poor jellyfish. He's so...flat. He served them well, but now he's gone and that makes me very, very sad.

Is that Bjornik still on my tail, that little rascal? ;) You should check out his amazing works. You two have so much in common!

Such heart warming comments! Thank you all!
And to flowergirl, each of these drawings takes around 7-12 hours to draw depending on their size and complexity.

cheers!

Omg Im all giddy to actually hear from you, Im a big fan of your work ^^ <3

I'm taking the camera with me everywhere if I can, but today it seems I misplaced the lid to the objective so Im a bit scared to take it anywhere so the objective doesn't get damaged -.- It's like I've scanned every millimetre of the house and it's nowhere to be found! Like there's a ghost hiding around who took it! But the camera itself is actually not that heavy I must say :) Quite light compared to most other models!

It just amazes me how much patience you have to complete these pieces with all their intricate and stunning line work.

Another lovely illustration Emily, and great storytelling too. Will you be releasing a whole volume of this? You should be coz it would be great having one! Such a feast for the eyes.

By the way, I can't remember how I shifted to illustration and painting. All I can remember was I didn't earn for almost a year. It was not easy though.

Now, where is lovely Bella? Hmmm.. I hope Zoe didn't let her hide in her jar.:)

Dang, I've not been able to do much visiting lately and miss your story most of all!

This particular installment is especially poetic. The way you describe Jellyfish's death and the corresponding image leaves me breathless.
