a fly tale...

It was on a sunny afternoon the fly approached me…
“Um…” he fumbled… “Where did I come from?”
And so we settled down on the balcony with cookies and juice and I told him… long long ago when I got my first fancy camera, I spent many a day taking pictures of rust and cracked paint… and it was as I was taking pictures of a particularly weathered windowsill that I found a fly.
He was sick and weary from trying to reach the summer landscape on the other side of the glass… I took pity on his poor soul and took him in… after some rest and chicken soup (which works for flies too by the way) he fully recovered to become the lovely fly I now call friend.

Emily,
my hometown is called Rouyn-Noranda, in the NOrth West of Quebec, near Ontario. Much nature and fresh air there :) So I guess you learned french here, right?

You went above and beyond here--wonderful work!

kathrine, I did learn my french there (I am fluent but rusty)... hehe and all my french friends here tease me for having a Quebec dialect...

cheers!

Delightful!!!
After seeing this, for me will be very difficult to kill a fly ... the Teddy Bear would remain orphan.

Yowzer that is cute!!! Love the bunny slippers. Those are some tiny ones too. Well, I can't kill spiders because of "Charlottes Web", and now I won't be able to kill flies because of you! ( not that I ever really did anyway.)

I had a pet mosquito once.
